Christmas is here! :)

This is the first time I've actually had a boyfriend on Christmas. Normally my relationships don't make it that far haha. It's nice, I won't lie about it. It took a few ups and downs to get here, but I'm really happy about it. I'm just glad to have someone again.


College = wonderful. You couldn't pay me to be back in high school.

I'm glad I finally found some cool roommates to share a condo with next year! I can't wait to move out of my dorrrrm. It's going to be so nice.

so i was watching tv in my mom's room this afternoon and i hear the doorbell ring, right? and my mom goes to get it and yells "OH MY GOSH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" and i was just like, 'huh, wonder who that could be.' and then she proceeds to come up the stairs with whoever was at the door and says, "Clare, look who's here!" and i looked and it was CHRIS. HOLY CRAP. hahahahaha. i thought i was halucinating. it was awesome. so yeah, he had to come home for a doctor's appointment and decided to surprise me this afternoon when he was done. and yeah. that totally just made my week. ^-^ mmk enough gushing. i was just excited.

the last week of summer was amazing, and i'm incredibly grateful for it.

anyway, kat and i are pretty much the most entertaining people on the face of the earth when we're together. annnnnnd i luff her. heehee.


so, chris has been gone for a little over a week and i'm already planning on going to visit him at sewanee in two weeks when caro goes to visit carter. hahahahaha, yeah i'm that cool. though no one else will share my level of excitement, but he's really great. ^-^


mmm yeah, so walgreens isn't working out so well, and i'll be done working there by next tuesday. but not to worry, very soon i'll be turning in my application at Soca Clothing, which is really exciting. so, if i get the job, i'd appreciate it if you guys came to visit occasionally. heehee.


and being a senior is definitely awesome.

work's been pretty hectic, and i'm really hoping that it'll cool off some once school starts, if not before then.


this summer's been so wonderful already. i'm just like in disbelief over all the good things God has put in my life right now. there's just a lot of positivity, and for that i am extraordinarily grateful.


kat's new puppy is PRECIOUS. my mom is like permenantly attached to him, so that will hopefully convince her to persuade daddy that we should get a new puppy.




and yeah, if any of you are just dying to see me, (which i know you are, ;]...) you should call me this coming weekend because i will be off work for about 5 days. YAY. hahahaha. so yeah, call me if you wanna do something.

work is long and life-consuming. 8.5 hour shifts for the past 5 days...yyyeah...hahaha. at least i'm paid well. hopefully, once the store over here is actually open and running it'll get better. until then, i expect a lack of sleep on my part. hahaha.

countdown till summer: 2 days! heck yes!

mary katherine hennington and i had a marvelous date on saturday night. we had the most amazing, astonishing, awe-inspiring, exciting, hair-raising, heart-stirring, impressive, magnificent, moving, overwhelming, spine-tingling, stunning, and thrilling date ever. (and by the way those are all the synonyms for awesome in my thesaurus. ^-^) we went and chatted about the many troubling situations we're both experiencing, then we made our way over to the Bruno's at the summit to buy and smuggle cheap candy into the theater where we saw the davinci code, which was fairly interesting and i rather enjoyed it. it was quite a night, chock full of excitement and entertainment. kat is by far my most precious friend from briarwood. ^-^. that is all.


everyone should go see Just My Luck. just for the record, you'd have to see it to know why it was so enjoyable, because i'll admit, until you see it, it looks rather lousy. :]

this year's been crazy, and i'm like in shock that it's almost over. i think it just hit me today. it's a little bittersweet...we'll be seniors next year, which is exciting and scary and unsettling all at once, but at the same time, that means all our current seniors are leaving, and that just makes everyone sad. but i don't want this entry to be sad or sappy. we're just gonna have to have an amazing summer that everyone'll remember forever and ever. hahahaha.

so, i was doing my hw tonight, right? when some number i don't know calls my phone. and when i answer, it's the manager of the new Walgreens down the street from my house in cahaba heights. and he offers me a job. and i'm spazzing because i've already said that i'll take the job at o'carrs. but mr. wallace, the walgreens guy, is offering me a job starting next week, as soon as i finish the last part of 'the application process'. so yeah, i guess i'll be working there, and hopefully i'll have a vacation as well.



annnnd yeah. boys are stupid and confusing.



yeah, and maybe i'll keep you posted about my job. but no one reads this/comments anyways, so yeah, i don't see the point. :]

yay for having a job! haha or, i will have one, as soon as school lets out. the only downer about it is that i can't go on any church trips/vacation at all. SADNESS I KNOW! it really is quite a let down, but hey. i gotta get some money somehow. and it's not like i'm not gonna have days off, right? maybe mr. burrus will at least let me go on the NC trip at the end of the summer. but yeah! i'm really excited! so come visit me at O'Carrs at the Heights Village in cahaba heights! please? i will love you for forever and a day! hahaha.

have you noticed how one bright, sunny, awesome day can completely change your perspective on things? i mean, the other day it was SO gorgeous outside that i just had the urge to go lay in the grass and just stare up at the sky and just feel the warmth, ya know? hahaha maybe that's just me. but yah, i enjoyed that greatly and it like put me in an awesome mood for the week. :]

hmm. i don't know why i'm updating because i don't have a lot to say. but there are a few things.

-i feel like i'm losing a friend.

-i wanna know why everyone's changing and becoming so distant.

-there's been so much crap going on that i really felt the pressure of it all last night/today and had a couple of meltdowns.

-i wanna know why so many people say one thing and act another.

ahhhh. stress is gonna kill me. i actually understand the section we're on in physics, and i can't tell you how accomplished i feel. like i study for that class everyday. we had club pictures today, which was cool because i got to miss some of math class. that was awesome because that class lasts foreverrrr.

i've never had this good of a monday. it's just like, i had a great day. i was all like bubbly and whatnot. hahaha. it was weird.

anyway, melissa and i went to hang out with charles and davis and kevin and rives (yes, that's how you spell it) and jordan b/c it's rives' bday today. so we met up with them at 8ish and had gelato at that place in crestline and then we just like hung out over in the middle of the chevron gas station. hahaha. it was great fun. and melissa makes me chuckle with her stupid songs off the radio. lol.
